Beckley

A small yet growing city in Southern West Virginia that even other people in the state never heard of, let alone the rest of the country. Beckley is the biggest city closest to the Western Hemisphere's longest arch bridge and near one of the oldest rivers on the planet, the New River. Yet people still haven't heard of Beckley.

A person (usually a male) that appears magically in the backseat of your car while you're driving. They aren't very popular today, but were very popular back in the 50's. Very few these days have encountered a Backseatsman, but those who have will never forget their experience.

Driver: Hey! How did you get in here?!

Backseatsman: I don't really know how i got in here... but here i am. And here we are. :D

1. A type of music that puts emphasis on beats 2 and 4.
2. A rhythmic quality in music where a beat either is slightly late or gives the illusion of being slightly late.
3. A personal trait of being late.

1. James Brown's music was groundbreaking in putting emphasis on the first beat; he called such music "the one."
2. Lay that snare drum down in a more relaxed manner, more backbeat.
3. Ricky is always late to rehearsal, he's so backbeat.
