An early Australianism (circa early 20th century), said during moments of anxious expectation, generally after the commencement of moments of chance, for example awaiting imminent news; the results of a sports match, or an attempted task with an unknown, random result.

Historically the phrase entered the vernacular in the first half of the 20th century, coined during betting matches of 'two-up', but the etymology may stem from roulette.

During a dice roll, while still shaking the dice: "Come in, spinner!"

It was created to capitalize on individuals with ADHD, autism, or anxiety; it became highly popular in 2017, though the fidget spinner is heading toward obsolescence, as people are finally realizing how antithetical it is. Many schools have banned fidget spinners for being distracting.

Student 1: I just got another fidget spinner yesterday.
Student 2: Dude, that's so cool!
Student 1: Yeah, it lights up and everything. And it was only 40 bucks.
Student 2: Woah! I have to get one!

Rims that gain and keep momentum after a vehicle is stopped. It could be argued that the owner of the rims lives a rather hedonistic lifestyle.
