When you die, and then you come back to life. Or in films a character is assumed dead when he/she is not dead. That character then shows themself alive.

when a person performs a close face on you, you can returns the favor by performing the return close face where you moving your face closer to their face to scare them off. Works well on people with homophobic nature.

My roommate pulled the close face on me so I had to use the return close face to fend them off.

Return fire

When a man pisses at a urinal, and some of his pee ricochet off of the urinal and lands on his face. This usually only happens when a man's stream is very powerful, so that is why this earned the name returning fire. A man's stream is so powerful that the urinal has no other decision but to retaliate.

Me: Why is your face wet?
Friend: Because a urinal gave me some heavy return fire.
Me: Whats return fire?
Friend: When you piss at a urinal and it decides to return the favor.

Used in football to describe running the football back after getting it kicked to you; But used in the Bothell area as Returning 'Kicks' also known as shoes, either for bad sizes, or just back kicks.

Obama: Sorry I am late.
McCain: Where were you?
Obama: Had to make a kick return.
McCain: I got a new suit and tie.
Obama: I got some F.N.K.'s!

The act of "renting" a DVD from a rental machine, ripping it and returning it to the vending machine within the period when you are not charged for rental.
