The genderneutral Term for a Mary Sue or Gary Stu, named after the Film Director Rian Johnson. An idealized and seemingly perfect fictional character. Often, this character is recognized as an authors insert or wish fulfillment.

They can usually perform better at tasks than should be possible given the amount of training or experience, and usually are able through some means to upstage the main protagonist of an established fictional setting, such as by saving the hero.

When the water trap beneath a shower or bath becomes clogged up with a build up of matted rotting hair, skin cells, palm oil, and various bodily secretions. That's a Johnson reservoir.

Peter Johnson Movies

A pejorative term used within the Percy Jackson and the Olympians fandom to describe the 2010 live-action film adaptation of The Lightning Thief, as well as its 2013 sequel, The Sea of Monsters. The term references the character Dionysus from the books, who is known to incorrectly refer to the franchise's titular character as "Peter Johnson."

Man, the Peter Johnson movies totally stunk! Did the writers even read a single word of the books?
