When you are having a conversation with someone over facebook, but your conversation is consisting of only posts on each other's walls. Then randomly after about 3 posts, the other person decides to continue the conversation by adding a comment to your wall-post, instead of creating a new post on their wall, thus giving the illusion of them being more popular when one looks at their wall.

"what the hell dude, we were having such a great wall-post discussion and then you had to become a wall-post-whore. i do not approve."

This figure of speech also derives from another simile of the phrase, "It's like talking to a wall", which means that someone may act so careless and helpless that they won't saying anything to help others.

Wall Street Journal

Ew. Just ew. Their editorials are hot garbage but probably THE worst part is their archaic subscription practice, which is an outright scam! Once subscribed there is no way to cancel it online, they don't even take email, you have to actually call them to cancel. And if you live outside of the US, well good luck finding the proper line.

Imagine owning a huge ass news corporation with their own mobile app, and yet they STILL don't give people the option to cancel their subscription via web or app. That's Wall Street Journal for ya.
