A question many people ask, something that is an integral part of opening up to a person. Yet, most people rather hear it than explain whether they are or not. Hearing this phrase is more important than anything else, but it is not worth pushing if they do not want to say anything. Maybe they are feeling not okay and do not want to talk about it or they are actually fine, no matter what it is better to at least let someone know you are noticing their tendencies and how they are not seeming fine.

Get the Are you okay?mug. You good is a set of words used to deescalate an online argument situation, while escalating the blood pressure of the person you are debating. It is best used when the other party is getting very emotional and passionate. Deploying "you good" once the other person is emotionally invested will help you win the argument because it should send the arguer into a tailspin. They think they are winning the argument, but now they think they appear not good and therefore wrong. Once you use "you good" it is best to keep using this response to all their future retorts. This will humiliate and debunk them.
Online Arguer: "Ha! You obviously don't know anything about science. There are literally pics of Mars and you can go buy a telescope yourself and see it in the sky! Do you not believe in science!?"
You (calm, cool, collected): "You good?"
