Unfortunately Lynchburg's most notable resident is the late Jerry Falwell and his founded institution of biased higher learning, Liberty University, an evangelical college.
Social Progressiveness will always take a back seat to narrow mindedness in Lynchburg so be wary.

Get the P'LYSM mug.Lynbrook, a high school located in the city of Cupertino. Population possibly 70% Asian, 18% Caucasian, 8% Hispanic, 4% black. Most students have nothing better to do than do homework, study, play video games, or go out with friends. Full of valedictorians, but also some druggies. Asians are a regular sight at Lynbrook. You can't turn a corner of a building without seeing another asian.
Long time rival with Monta Vista, because all high schools need enemies. Common insults are "joo suxor MV" and "joo suxor LHS".
NOT full of losers. Most of the time students encourage sportsmanship and support. Freshman are not picked on as much as other high schools or the typical stereotype.
REALLY small school, comparatively with Monta Vista. Low budget because of the Governator. Can't use own football field lights because neighbors get pissed. Can run across campus without even breaking a sweat or getting lost. As of the 2006 Lynbrook football team:
LHS owned MV in JV, MV owned LHS in Varsity.
NO Chinese as a language class. NO Japanese 5 AP. Okay wireless internet access. Okay school spirit.
Fob nation.
