It is now more often used for someone who is a fanboy/girl of Consoles and hates PC gaming and will defend it at any cost and would rather have an argument about console vs PC instead of a friendly debate/discussion. Often stereotyped by making dumb arguments with no evidence. Although many PC gamers don't believe all console gamers are like this, just the fanboys/girls. (sorry for possible bad grammar.)
pc gamer- "I prefer PC because of it perfoms better, more fps ETC."
