Coconut wireless

The Hawaiian concept of the Coconut Wireless is better than a cell phone! It is a wireless and fast way of communicating through word-of-mouth news or the sixth sense.

Example A: Friend 1: "Kealoha isn't home she went to the big island." Friend 2: "Yeah, I heard it on the coconut wireless."

Example B: Say you haven't seen your friend in a while and start to call them and get interrupted. Then they call you a minute later or show up on your doorstep. You are both connected to and tuned into the Coconut Wireless.

Friend 1: "Hey, I was going to call you"
Friend 2: Smiles knowingly, "I know. Heard dat on da Coconut Wireless."

Originally conceived in Houston city-data based off the rantings of a forum smartass, "coconut shucker" just means you're like the coolest thing since Elvis ate sliced bread sandwiches with the Fonz. When you're a "coconut shucker," every guy wants to be you and every woman wants to be with you. And you drink Dos Equis.
