It really means to play Call of Duty 4, but it is used when you don't want to look like a nerd around a girl or friends.

ex. in the middle of class sitting next to a friend and the girl you like.

guy:What are you doing tonight?
you:Well i was thinking of going codding.

girl has no idea!

Instrumentation typically includes light synthesizers/samplers, cajon box drum for 'acoustic percussion', cheap drum machines, acoustic or clean electric guitars. Light auto-tune may be used if needed. Absent are electric guitars, Marshall full or half stacks, real drums and vocals that require any lung capacity.

My boyfriend is in a coddlerock band. They play everything from Justin Bieber to Chainsmokers.
