boerewors

A spicy beef and pork sausage from South Africa, typically cooked at a braai (SA BBQ). Invented by the boeres (farmers) of South Africa, it can be dried into droe wors(similar to beef jerky) which can last for a long treks. Boerewors is typically served in a bun with ketchup like a hotdog.

Sometimes the name is also given to the beef jerky-like sticks/slices of dried beef.

I had a jol at the braai on Saturday, the boerewors was lank!

An intentional type of highly destructive bowing motion using the head like a sledge hammer, typically carried out by a country person/ farmer in an urban area or city when angered or startled by modern living norms or technology. Sometimes referred to as a 'kev-butt'

#1. the house guest 'boherbue-bowed' in the lavatory at the sight of the newly stocked scented hand soap, laying waste to the newly installed furnishings and adornments.

#2. "I will 'boherbue-bow' the walls of this house down before I recycle a single piece of plastic, climate change me-hole" spoken in farmer accent

Bohemian Love Smock

Another name for a Mexican Baja Hoodie, generally woven from wool. It is usually coarse and loose, but can be worn in a range of temperatures, due to the fabric's ability to breathe. Often linked with drugs, as they were originally woven from hemp. See drug rug
