When US law enforcement uses skin color as the legal basis to detain and demand citizenship papers from anyone out in public. The term was coined after Justice Kavanaugh wrote a poorly reasoned majority opinion for the Noem v. Perdomo application for stay, in which the US Supreme Court conservative majority decided that the use of racism to detain people was likely not illegal and that being detained or arrested for not looking American (white) was only a minor inconvenience.
My neighbor got swept up in a Kavanaugh Stop. She told the Ice agent that she was a US citizen and her last name was Greeley, but he just told her "she didn't look like a Greeley" and he was going to detain her overnight if she couldn't provide her papers.

But REALLY all it does is allow the religion to avoid scrutiny. Makes it easier to condemn Atheists as '4 chan internet edgelord trolls.' There has got to be something else going on there. What's suspicious is that they are all deciding to stop doing it at the same time. Right? And it's kind of weird because I was suggesting before that I thought it was strange that there were no pure Atheists and that the people on both sides of the debate where either 'formerly Christian' or Jews. Or I guess Muslims sometimes. But still. Odd that they all decided to do this at the same time."
