Bump

A whole language within a single word. Can be used as an expression of happiness, fear, disgust, surprise, etc. The vocal delivery or repetition of the bump changes it’s meaning. Often, it’s used as an onomatopoeia but with a deep meaning.

“Dude watch out there’s a car coming!”
“BUMP, BUMP, BUMP, BUMP!”

OR

“I just got dumped.”
“Buuummpp, sorry brotein shake”

Brexit Bump

Meaning 1: An issue in your life that can likely be boiled down to Brexit either being something that happened as a result of Brexit or something that Brexit did that made your life more difficult.

Meaning 2: A baby born during the Brexit period (2016-2020)

"Hey Sarah, I now have to sell my villa in Spain because of Brexit"
"Yeah, that's such a brexit bump"

"Yo Tony, did you know that Lea was born in 2018?"
"No way, I didn't know that she was a Brexit Bump"

A verb to describe the act of switching which sorority sisters use during recruitment. They will never use this term around the pnms and have special groups dedicated to have a set group for rotations to meet the pnms in the most ideal pairings.

Girl 1: Go bump /generic sorority name/
Girl 2: Okay yeah, I'll talk to that pnm now.
