A person who believes in the absence of any supreme being or anything regarding the supernatural...There are 2 kinds
Good Atheist: A person who has read and studied thoroughly the concepts of science and religion. He/She has come to the conclusion that there is no supreme being and therefore does not believe in any god or gods. In spite of this however they are open to the concept and enjoy having mature, intellectual debates on the issue without being critical or condescending.
Bad Athiest: A self-involved, egotistical jackass who does not believe in a supreme being not because what they have read or studied but usually because they hate religion or religious people. They usually go out of there way to make religious people feel bad and accuse them of being close-minded while they, themselves, will not listen to any other arguments but there own. They are impossible to try to reason with because they are usually self-centered, condescending,unscientific, and downright immature. Their arguments are usually full of anti-religious cliches and therefore easy to break apart.

1. corruption of a word "atheist", probably first used in a information sharing website known as Yahoo! Answer (citation needed). the origin of the word is murky at best, but it probably derived from some n00b creationtits accidentally misspelling "atheist", thus creating failmeme in process.
it is now used here and there, exclusively on R&S board, as a jeer or insult at atheists.
this word is one of those cases where it can be used as both plural and singular, except if you know someone that has only one tit, then in that case call him or her athetit.

Get the athetits mug.Athens, GA is a tiny college town in north eastern Georgia. Until the early 1980's the only thing it was known for was being the home of the University of Georgia and the Georgia Bulldog football team. That is until the B=52's played at a party on Milledge STreet across from the Taco Stand! Then all hell broke loose. Soon other bands like r.e.m., Pylon and love tractor (among others) decided to emerge and some of them even got famous. the rest got semi famous! R.e.m. is probably the most famous. r.e.m. are Rich too. Soon other musicians moved to Athens, clearly hoping there was something in the water to make them rich and famous rock stars too. People started to move to Athens in hopes of glimpsing, or better yet, becoming good friends with members of r.e.m. or at least sleeping with one of them which is, or was, apparently not too difficult to do. Athens is still known for a bustling music and art scene and all types of artistic expression are encouraged and supported. ARt openings are as widely attended as Frat parties, but by a completely different crowd thank goodness.. Frat and sorority members sometimes go to the bars and nightclubs where the artsy crowd goes.. but that is only to catch a glimpse of michael stipe hanging out at the bar - about which they are known to quickly text their friends...the Artsy crowd doesn't return the favor and never go to the frat bars... Athens is also home to Wuxtry records, one of the best examples of a dying breed of record store where you can still buy vinyl recordings and where the staff are all encyclopedia's of musical knowledge. The town is home to strange landmarks like The Tree That Owns Itself and The prince ave. Baptist church and a road called Nowhere Road...Athens is still a wonderful place to live and raise kids. Where, if you can find a job you can afford to live pretty well, among an intelligent liberal progressive and thinking community.

Get the Athegeek mug.A predominantly black, heavily Hispanic, relatively prosperous unincorporated community in the South Los Angeles region of Los Angeles County, California. Athens is south of unincorporated Westmont, east of Hawthorne, north of Gardena, and west of the Broadway-Manchester neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles. It is bounded on the north by Imperial Highway, on the east by Vermont Avenue, on the south by El Segundo Boulevard and the Gardena city line and on the west by South Van Ness Avenue, South Wilton Place and the Hawthorne city boundary. It is bisected by the Interstate 105 Century Freeway. Notable for Athens Park Bloods a predominately African-American street gang in an unincorporated area of South East Los Angeles County. The group started during circa 1970 as the Athens Park Boys (APB) before the Crip & Blood identities took form in the early 1970s. Some suggest that the APB were formed in 1969 prior to Raymond Washington forming the first Crip gang on the eastside of Los Angeles.
During the late 1960s, prior to the Athens Park Boys, the Black Cobras were the dominant group in the neighborhood which included guys like Tabu, Cowboy, Tony White and Michael Bell.
The Athen are one of the few gangs that have a westside and eastside within their singular turf West of Main Street to Figueroa represents the westside of Athens Park and east of Main Street to Avalon is the eastside.

Get the athens park mug.A school in California that teaches students to actually get somewhere in life. It is a pretty cool and laid back school in general, which a lot of people think is weird. (esp. the whole we call teachers by their first names)and how it is in the rulebook that if it ever snows, class will be halted for 15 minutes for a voluntary snowball fight. Athenian students do a LOT of community service around the bay area, and the world.
SRV Student: Hey so you go to Athenian, right?
