weedless prop

A.k.a. "weed-free prop". Refers to any fake or "just for show" object (i.e., "Hugs not drugs" t-shirt, "Just say no" bumper sticker, etc.) that one prominently displays in an attempt to fool others into believing that he or she "shuns the Mary Jane" ("weed"), when in reality the person enjoys a good joint or bowl just as much as the rest of 'em do, and so the flashy personal-virtue-proclaiming object is merely a "prop", and is therefore just about as legitimate (NOT!) as the identically-named and moderately-pricey boating-accessory's often-grossly-exaggerated claim to consistently shrug off tangles with aquatic vegetation --- generally speaking, those much-hyped devices still get all gloobered up with milfoil and lily-tendrils just about as much/often as the standard "screws" do, and so the item's purchaser gets "screwed", as well!

Ever since pot use has become more widespread --- and even legal --- in many areas, the sales of weedless prop items has skyrocketed... what a sham!

The Weedles literally is a reaction to financial desperation usually among drug addicts but can also be applied to people with bad gambling addictions. To Weedle is to become so desperate for a drug fix that the person begins to look over everything around them they can sell or trade for drugs including other's possessions.

Being accused of having the Weedles is implying financial desperation the person with it intends to solve at the expense of others.

A wheedler is someone who contemplates selling off their goods or theft to support a drug habit. Please refer to Sketcher (USA slang) and Spranger (U.K. slang).

Example 1:
You are not weedleing off my shit to support your fucking meth habit!

Example 2:
You see how messed up that crack addict is? I swear he has the weedles for anything he can sell off or trade for his fix.

Example 3:
Dude, your sister is going through your stuff like she intends to sell it off. If I didn't know any better your sister has the weedles bad.

Example 4:
You think your going to find something you can weedle off?

Example 5:
Let me guess, your dry and need a hit? I'm asking because you look like you got the weedles bad.

weekly sales flyers

Legalized harassment by mail.

I called da local post office and opted out of receiving weekly sales flyers (I almost never buy anything from them, anyway, and I wanted to save on pulp-trees), but I keep getting them anyway; turns out that the USPS always just drops off those ads at every box; they aren't even allowed to "pick and choose" where they deliver those bundles of nonsense.
