pub wednesday

Pub Wednesday refers to a typical Wednesday night at Illinois State University in which students meander on over to the Pub II, a bar located on campus. The significance of it being on a Wednesday is that entire pitchers of bud and bud light are on sale, so you can get drunk while eating cheese balls without your wallet regretting it. Not to be confused with "how's like at the pub?", a common phrase used by ISU students to ask if it is even worth going to the Pub II and waiting in line to even get a seat, since Wednesdays typically bring in quite the crowd.

Are you going to Pub Wednesday tonight?
I don't know, how do you think the line will be? Probably long as fuck.
