Über, in German, is a prefix AND a seperate word (Z0MG!) As a seperate word, it can be used as an adverb or a preposition.

Über can also be translated as an adjective such as over, above, and super. The most frequent users of it as an adjective are gamers, chatters, and forum users.

Uber simply means "Super". Uber was originally used back in the late 1960's and early 1970's. Then it simply meant "Super" or "awsome". Now-a-days, Uber means something that is completely and really cool, this word is more commonly used by Emo, hXc, Electrikk people.
