Olaata/Olata is an Indian internet slang used to mock Kannada activists.

The word is a basterdization of the Kannada word "Horaata" which means struggle.

The words origin come from a dialect of Kannada, where Horaata is pronounced as Oraata. Later the r was replaced with l to mock the pronounciation.

Horaata > Oraata > Olaata
