Understatement. When you say something (usually satirically) by saying the opposite of what you really mean. Like "That's not good." When you mean "Holy crap, that sucks! What are we going to do!?"

I didn't want to offend the teacher, so I used litote to tell her how much her class sucks.

pertaining to or A person born with a mental condition and therefore has to work a million times harder to be able to do simple things. On top of this, a letto will usually suffer a lot of ridicule from society because people fear what they do not understand.

Someone who provides a very needed service for the community and sleeps with everyone, even the guy that has no shot at getting laid and everyone knows it.
