A derogatory and highly offensive term used to describe people who are homosexual (generally used for males - as i've heard it).
To my understanding, this vile term originated from the large bundle of wooden sticks they used to light on fire and use to burn homosexual people on the stake as punishment for their lifestyle.

A faggot is someone who is gay and can't stop expressing it (wearing pink and hitting on non-gay guys etc). A gay person is normal and acts fine and it's okay if they are camp.

It's also used to describe a very famine or weak person. Christians are the main ones pushing it, and encourage their teenagers to use it.
