conversation hostage

1) someone who is trapped in a conversation against their will. often they will try to change the subject, but no matter how many times they do, the conversation always moves back to the original subject. Sometimes, it is avoidable, but there are many scenarios where one cannot escape - eg, in college/school where one is sat at the same desk as a conversation jailer.

2) to hold someone conversation hostage

1) Jemma was forced to listen to Daisy talk about her dad and Burger King for an hour because she had no means of escape. Boy did she get held conversation hostage!

2) man, that Daisy held Jemma conversation hostage for an hour talking about Burger King! She's such a conversation jailer!

A Convertible is a car which has no roof (Sort of). The roof is usual made of some sort of material which can be used or hidden. Found generally on sports cars.

Guy: Hey theres a convertible! It has no roof!
Girl: Yeah maybe u should buy me one cause I like the wind flowing through my hair!

conversation bumper

A person who is in a deep conversation, and all of the sudden says a random thing, sentence, or thought, that kills the conversation.

Much like a speed bump, it slows you down, and leaves you confused, stranded, and a little freaked out.

Shelly: Hey, so how was your date last night?!
Clara: zomg you'll never guess what James did last night...
Shelly: what?!!
Clara:... hmmm... today my dog got a bath. he doesn't like water. you should have seen him squirm! hehe i like dogs! do you like dogs?
Shelly:..... conversation bumper much?!

Conversational DJ

Someone who mixes different parts of different converstions you had together and makes it sound like something you did not say. One who samples differents pieces of conversations together to make it seem like you said something you didn't just as a DJ samples music

My mom is such a conversational DJ, always twisting my words and mixing different shit.
