a store owned by abercrombie that markets west coast inspired styles appealing to mostly junior high and some high schoolers. the clothes are of decent quality, though i would advise you that if you are wide shouldered like me, dont wear thier tank tops. its about the same price as american eagle, less exspensive than a&f, and the same price as abercrombie kids. if you are tired of american eagle, like abercrombie, but dont fit into the kids clothes and dont want to pay 34 dollars for a teeshirt at a&f, hollister is the store for you.

Clothing store owned by Abercrombie & Fitch. They sell clothing pertaining to the west coast and surfing. Hollister Co is named after a John Hollister, a man who traveled the ocean, eventually settling down in Southern California, around the Santa Cruz area. It is not named after the city in California.

Its just another store in a mall. Its cool if you wanna shop there, and you shouldnt be judged on where you shop. i personally think theyre alright. And to all you stuck up surfers out there who hate it just remember all it is is a way to get more cash flow into the surfin industry everytime one of those wannabes buys any of the actual surf gear. sure theyre posers but if all you see is their cash dont bitch about it. im sure theres other sports out there that wish they were as well known and liked, or had the extra income from posers and wannabes

A clothing store for both male and female teens. Hollister has the same style clothing as A&F, a tad cheaper. Still somewhat expensive. Most clothing made from Hollister Co. either the words Hollister, Hollister Co., HCO, or 22 on it.

Hollister clothing is spreading fast in popularity.

"Did you get that shirt at Hollister?"

"Hollister is having a sale on their skirts this Saturday."

A store owned by Abercrombie & Fitch. Shopped at by what some would percieve as "preps". Trust me, it's not the preppiest. Although i wouldn't be caught dead paying 60$ for a pair of ripped jeans, i don't really discriminate against people who shop there. It only becomes a problem when they brag and diss walmart shoppers. Honestly, you can get the same shirts for 5$ a piece at a department store. Hollister is just plain, name-brand, over priced clothing usually worn by teens and young adults.

1.) girl 1: I got these cute ripped jeans at hollister co. you like?

me: eh, i ripped my own, but your's are fine i guess.

2.) stuck up girl: chyeah, your just jealous because i can shop at hollister and you shop at walmart, poor freak.

me: ha. dumb bitch. i bet you won't be able to set foot in there without daddy's money. fuck off.

Hollister Hottie

A "hollister hottie" is a guy or girl that shops at Hollister, Abercrombie, Aeropostale, etc. These people are often very full of themselves, and belittle people that don't shop at hollister or look a certain way. Hollister hottie guys are very hard to please and only think of themselves. They will never make good husbands, fathers, or anything that a woman is really looking for. A female hollister hottie is the most over-rated woman a male hollister hottie parades around. A female hollister hottie is normally a clingy, over-jealous, naggy, pompous, vain jerk. Every hollister hottie is from the same cookie cutter mold and there is nothing special about them. All hollister hotties are arrogant and only date the people within the barbie and ken world they believe in. NEVER FALL FOR A HOLLISTER HOTTIE!!

Think Hollister and the people that go in...Those are braindead Hollister Hotties.
