Get the emo mug.Emo is something that a lot of people hate and god knows why. There's nothing wrong with it and people need to grow up. Quit putting emo and gothic in the same category they are completely different. I think people should know everything about something if they are going to hate it, I mean what's the point in hating something you know nothing about? So get a life, get off emo's case and worry about something worth while, and if you continue to dwell on it, then go have a cry about it and become what you people assume to be emo.

1)Emo is considered country and blues for the punk generation because it talks about the same things country and blues talk about--your lover leaving you and you think you can't go on without them-- yet it gets dissed while country and blues don't. What is wrong with this picture?

There are 2 types of emos, the hardcore proper emos 'emotional' people who are actually upset about real things and keep it 2 themselves
And fashion emos who crave attention so cry as much as possible and cut themselves (trying to kill themselves apperently which they never do) and then tell everyone in the world about it
