When having met someone in a professional setting and they remain strictly professional, refusing any chance of even a friendship developing.

Josh: who was that you just said hello to?
Adam: a girl from work.

Josh: she’s cute, you gonna go for it?
Adam: Can’t. She professional zoned me. Wants to only talk about work and nothing else.

the space/pause between boy friend and girl friend is the friend "zone"; classifying you only as a friend that is a guy or a friend that is a girl, nothing more.

Friend 1 : omg you and Bob act like y'all dating
Friend 2: NAHHHHHH, he's just my boy_friend.
Friend 1: ouch you friend zoned him

When someone you're talking to doesn't want to be friends, just academic acquaintances. This is a downgrade from the friendzone.

Person 1: Hey, is Sally going to be joining us on our beach trip?
Person 2: No, she said she'd rather just do homework with me instead.
Person 2 is in the academic zone.

Outrageous Zone

A term used to describe the size of a man's penis without having to give specific details. Being "in the outrageous zone" means you have a huge dick. (over 10 inches)
