law school

A building where you will spend three years of your life reading statutes, court cases, and legal commentary. You also will spend time arguing over politics, drinking beer, and playing poker. For the privilege of doing all this, you will pay a minimum of $30,000 per year (probably more in the Western or Northeastern U.S. states).
Law school typically serves as a training ground for politicians, real estate developers, and professional gamblers.

Law of Sequels

Law that states that a sequel to a movie or game will always be worse than the original. No (well, okay, FEW) exceptions.

This law especially applies to movies and games made after 2000, when everything started sucking ass.
I don't need an example for the Law of Sequels, do I?

Law of The Internet

If you videotape yourself doing something risky, you're bound to fuck it up and end up on the internet show "=3" hosted by RayWilliamJohnson.
Any fail video reposted by Fail Blog or Break would be an example of the "Law of The Internet."

Law of Grote

If there is a predator missile in Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare 2, it will defy all game logic and instead of going for the group of 3 or 4 guys, it will go for you. You can not hide, it will always find you, and you will not survive.
When playing CoD, I swear that I can never break the law of Grote. I hate predator missiles!

Law Of Swearing

Never should you ever use actual swear words or replacement ones in the same sentence or sentence following shortly after. It is uncalled for and inexcusable. This should be an actual law.
"What the Fudge!? Fuck you, man!" The Law of Swearing being broken. NO NO.

Law and Order

the general population’s education on legal cases and murder. Also a tv show that you will accidentally spend 6 hours watching instead of doing productive things.
Woman 1: I spend too much time watching law and order!
Woman 2: In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups. The police who investigate crime, and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders. These are there stories. DUN DUN

Law of Surprise

The Law of Surprise is a custom as old as humanity itself. The Law dictates that a man saved by another is expected to offer to his savior a boon whose nature is unknown to one or both parties. In most cases, the boon takes the form of the saved man's firstborn child, conceived or born without the father's knowledge
Law of Surprise... it's something we invoke at times, but rarely. Usually we just take gold.
