Hick

A hick is a cross between a Redneck and a Hillbilly. They love the country, and are God-fearing, Gun -loving, and very self-reliant. They'd rather the government stay out of their business, but they are law abiding and tax paying, good, honest Christian folks. They love to hunt and grow their own food, and tend to be healthier than those in the city, and they don't complain much cause they are tough. They stay up for principles and values, and have morals. Most are land owners in the country, and deal in some type of farming. Many are educated from colleges, but they also have survival smarts as they take care of their own, so they must learn how to survive off the land. Very honest people too, you can leave you doors unlocked, leave your purse laying around or leave money on a table and not have to worry. They think city slickers are dumb as a box of rocks.

I realized I was a Hick when I was running late for a graduation, so I blow dried my hair with the heater vents in my pick up on the way there, and it was dry before getting there.

That old hick needs to mow his driveway.
