Liberty Spikes

A hair style worn by punk rockers where a strand of hair is gelled or glued and then twisted at the tip to form a "spike". Eventually when gone through the whole head, it looks like the statue of liberty's spiked crown, thus giving it the name of Liberty Spike. Nowadays most posers wear them, who aren't really punks but do it for the fashion.
Real punk rockers used wood glue for their hair styles.

spike trap

A spike trap is a trap that can do extensive damage when triggered. They are often found in video games and in some adventuring movies.

To be "spike trapped" is to be caught in a situation that is both painful and painfully avoidable. Players of Dungeons and Dragons frequently must "check for traps" to avoid falling into a variety of traps, including spike traps.

The character Kevin McCallister in Home Alone is someone with extensive knowledge of triggered traps, including spike traps.

In adventuring games, spike traps can make dungeon delving difficult. In multiplayer games, such as PUBG, spike traps can be set to inflict harm on your enemy while protecting a particular area.

Spike traps should not be confused with other traps that are more annoying than they are harmful. For instance, in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you can use a Pitfall Seed to lay a trap that is similar in concept to a spike trap, though it is more of an inconvenience than a damage dealing trap.
