The Catcher in the Rye

A novel which many people of the world should avoid reading, as they simply would not understand the meaning of the word "phony", a word which is repeated several times throughout the book.

I thought about being a catcher in the rye, but I don't really like people that much so I thought I'd just let them fly off the cliff.

Catcher in the rye

A piece of literature that was banned in some places. You have to read about 75% of the book till you reach the main reason why its called "Catcher in the rye". Kinda slow and boring, but better than other mandatory school literature.

shower rye

A drink you consume while in the shower. Generally, it is Crown Royal and Coke mixed and put in a Thermos, thereby preventing hot water from getting in the drink. Usually reserved for special drinking days in dorms, ie, getting drunk early in the morning or before supper.

Before brunch, we went to the bathroom and had shower ryes.
