When you are walking down a hallway or corridor and someone coming the opposite way mirrors your every move to get out of each other's way. Often ends in a collision.

The act of walking down a street or corridor towards someone and drifting sideways to avoid the other person, only to find they've done the same and you're still on a collision-course. This is sometimes repeated until bothe parties stop with a sheepish laugh or cheesy comment about dancing.
