Vastly overused word.

Word used when you don't want to explain all the things someone said wrongly in excruciating detail and since you don't care you just say basically.

So, basically, you just go inside and basically just ask for the sale and that's basically it.

Person 1: How do I fill out this form? Just put my name on it and the hours worked?

Person 2: Basically.

Basic

A person who has failed to develop their own personal tastes and therefore has adopted boring, conformist, tastes. A basic person is only interested in things that are mainstream , popular, and trending and they will dress , act, behave similar to how others do. A basic person has no defining characteristics and is devoid of intelligence and/or the ability to socialize on a very basic level.

Are you a YouTuber? Ew that's so basic!

I tried having a conversation with her for 10 minutes but it was impossible! She's so boring and basic!

Person 2: Ew I'm not watching your videos they're basic just like you!
