Resembles the proverb: "After the ship has sunk everyone knows how she might have been saved".

Usually collaborates with people on Reddit/4chan or other forums.

Young Timmy is too into finding the identity of a cat murderer he found online by finding the IP address of the site the murderer set up and posting it on 4chan. He is an Armchair Sleuth.

Armchair Logger

Someone who logs a geocache find, without having actually visited the geocache. Quite often getting a fellow geocacher to sign their name in the logbook, while they are elsewhere.

They may have found a lot of geocaches, but everyone knows they are an armchair logger.
