Get the emo mug.'Emo' is a music genre, yet it is used in the wrong context and usually mistaken for a style label for a teen goth cult. Its a bit odd to think you are an 'emo', so try a different style. Don't try scene unless you would be commited to it. Don't a poser.

Many people have pre-judgements about Emo's.
Alot of people will see an Emo and start bitching even though they don't know the person.
There are many different reasons for people to want to be emo. Some people just like the fashion statements, some feel that it is the perfect way to express themselves, some feel they have been driven to it.
But, unless you actually know the person, you really can't say anything bad about them.
People often tag Emo kids as 'Rude, Anti-social, Freak and many more 'obscene' words'
When infact most Emo's are actually really great people, they are fun, sensitive and they are so easy to be around.
There is nothing wrong with being Emo. The typical 'Emo Stereotype' is wrong in many cases.
The main point of being Emo is that you can express yourself freely, in whatever way you want to.
Emo kids often look like the scene kids, there are a few tiny differences between the two but they are quite alike really.
The Emo community is a fast growing and increasingly popular style among the younger generations.
In other words what i'm trying to say is; Emo is THE SEXX!!!

Get the Emo mug.To me emo is a style i am def not a middle class teenage girl im a lower middle class mommy of 2 and i have a scene hair cut and since i have been in junior high have dyed my hair funky colors and wore rock shirts and skate shoes and still do then i was considered a candy kid or raver but never went to a rave now all the sudden im emo nope im me thanks and from what i gather emo is a genre of music so i dont go around saying i hate jocks do i people are people thank you!! And just to let you know ive never cut my self out of self loathing but i have gotten a tattoo to express things i am feeling and im also a very happy human being ive never been depressed a day in my life!!! im just fun and love to express that in my style!!

Get the emo mug.emo is just a name that we express our selves with. True we wear dark stuff. True some of us are gay. True some of us cut ourselves. (self harming. look it up and understand it more) True some of us hate chavs.
We are aproachable people. And we do have feelings, and most of us emo's are very emotional. (lyke me)
It doesnt mean we are depressing sad asses who complain about everything in lyfe. And it doesnt mean we wryte suicide notes 24/7.
And if none of you can understand that emo's ARE in fact people. Then yoo are a sad prejudiced person.
