Another name for the 44th Law of Anime Physics: Law of Nominative Clamovocation- the likelihood of success and damage done by a martial arts attack is directly proportional to the volume at which the full name of the attack is announced.

The Kamehameha effect allows Dr. Octagonapus to regularly destroy cars, people, and the inside of whatever room he is in. Vegeta desintigrates mountains on the same principal.

Gyarados Effect

The effect of someone or something getting infinitely better/more badass/awesome within a short space of time, similar to how a Magikarp can evolve from a horrifically weak pokemon into a Gyarados, which is very powerful.

Amanda: Hey, have you noticed how Neville in the Harry Potter films is now really hot?

Jill: Yup, it's the Gyarados Effect.

McInness Effect

An idea that when your deepest convictions are challenged by contradictory evidence, your beliefs get stronger. Named for writer Gavin McInness who brought idea to mainstream.

Someone posted a video taken out of context of Donald Trump making fun of a disabled reporter . I then posted my own video of the entire conversation that proved trumps flailing was taken out of context and not directed towards anyone disabled, they then said I was wrong and something was wrong with me and then blocked me. Clearly the McInness effect is strong in this person .
