The players make a fist and move them up and down and say "scissors, paper, rock", and on rock they change their hand into either a horizontal peace sign for scissors, flat for paper or keep it as a fist for rock. Rock breaks scissors, scissors cuts paper and paper smothers rock. Often used as a decider.
