Largely used in reference to radio programming that is broadcast live and also recorded for podcast download. (Broadcast + Podcast = Proadcast)

ploidy

Derives from the word diploid, calling someone "stupid" or "thick" as in they don't understand what is happening. If you call someone a Ploidy it has the same meaning, but in a friendlier way. It is nicer term to call someone a bit stupid, usually used between friends.

Plondron

1. n. A period in the stock market when the price wiggles uncertainly for a lengthy period in a near straight line and there is a sense that it could go either way.
2. n. Any period of time where things are completely undecided, anything could happen, snd it’s unwise to make a move (see suspense)

Usage: For three days straight over Christmas week GPBUSD remained roughly at 1.25, neither rising nor falling. Clearly, it was in a plondron.
