Mainland High School

Mainland High School is a synonym for a living hell. Notably the most ghetto high school in Volusia County, Mainland High School is known for fights, hot cheeto girls in every corner, and drugs on campus. There is a 99.9% chance that you will be threatened to be beaten up by someone for no valid reason at least once while you attend this school, if that doesn’t happen to you, then there is a 99.9% chance you will be emotionally damaged far before you leave Mainland. The majority of people at Mainland High School are not even passing their classes. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we thought there was a shooter on campus once because a few people let off fireworks. This school has a bad reputation for many reasons, and if you’re zoned for this school I highly recommend going on a variance for a different school.

“What high school are you going to?”
“Mainland High School, what about you?”
“Oh.. I’m going to Seabreeze. I heard Mainland’s a really bad school.”

Cesar Millan

Born in Mexico, Cesar worked on a farm as a boy and wanted to become a dog trainer in America. He illegally immigrated to the US and worked in San Diego in at a small dog grooming shop. He then worked as a limo/vallet service. After everyone saw how good he was with dogs, word of mouth spread and he soon started training dogs/people as he had his own small side business. Jada Pickett Smith was one of his first major clients and offered to help Cesar set up his own business.

Now he is host of the popular "Dog Whisperer" show on National Geographic. He is very good with dogs and constantly tells people to stop treating dogs like humans and be their pack leaders!

Minoans

A civilization that arose on Crete and flourished approximately from the 27th century BC to the 15th century BC. Unlike any other society at that time, women dominated the Minoan world. Minoans built massive palace complexes, the largest of them all being Knossos. They're wealth was based upon tin-trade and they had a massive fleet of ships. There have only a few weapons been found all over Crete, but all of them were used by the priestesses in all sorts of rituals, making the hypothesis that this could have been a peaceful civilization.
Somewhere around 1600 BC the volcano on the island of Thera (Santorini) erupted, this eruption caused massive tsunamis rush towards north side of Crete, destroying Minoan fleet and their coastal settlements. But years moved on, and they rebuilt their sites, making them even greater, but it wasn't for long when their neighbors, the Mycenaeans took over them and absorbed their ways of life. The true reason, why Minoans right at the peek of their power came to end, is unknown.

Person 2:Ah yes! It was a civilization that flourished on Crete, right?
Person 1:Exactly!
