One who avoids mandatory military service by leaving the country or securing a questionable deferrment.

GW Bush used his dad's connections to get into the Texas Air National Guard during Vietnam (and subsequently went AWOL.) Therefore, he is a draft dodger.

1) someone who doesn't conform to normal social standards, or who picks bits and pieces off from different cliques to create their own

2) someone who drifts in and out of social conversation within a group of people

3) someone who drifts back and forth from reality and fantasy. (they are usually quiet and observant)

it will be hard to hold her attention, after all, she has always been a drifter.
