Bashing

Bash: to flame; to put down

A term used when fellow watchers, readers, and fans of an anime/manga/book/TV series put down, flame, and say derogatory things about a certain character or pairing in a nasty way to show their disapproval towards that character and/or pairing. Can be seen both in fanfiction and discussion forums.

Most fans are seen flaming a certain character because he/she is interfering with their favorite pairing in the show:

-In the Digimon 02 fandom, fans who support the pairing Takari (TK x Kari) are usually seen bashing Davis, who has a huge, seemingly annoying, crush on Kari.

-In the Inuyasha fandom, many, many fans bashes the character Kikyo because she interferes with the ever popular Inuyasha x Kagome pairing, since she is Inuyasha's "ex-girlfriend".

Basshunter

Also known as the greatest DJ who ever lived. He started making songs on Fruity Loops and got discovered by his (joke) song Boten Anna on the internet. He overcame his Tourettes Syndrome and is incredibly successful. He was raised in Halmstad, Sweden with his parents and his younger brother Joakim. He's a really nice and funny guy. He recently starred in a season of Celebrity Big Brother, finishing in fourth place. He speaks fluently in Swedish and English, and proficiently in German, French, Russian, French, Spanish, and is currently learning Dutch. He refers to himself as a computer/video game nerd and doesn't consider himself a celebrity even though he is the biggest commercial dance artist in the world right now. He is 26 years old.

Basshunter is really hot.

bashing

to travel behind a locomotive hauled train of rail carriages (bashing haulage) usually on a Preserved line, 'bashing' has been a gricers term for many a year with thousands of bashers out most weekends doing haulage - and paying good money for the privilege.

'I was bashing the 37's out of Fort William having festered there all night', which means, travelling out of Fort William in the Highlands behind a Class 37 Locomotive having slept on the platform all night.

banker bashing

The act of blaming investment bankers for all of society's woes and publicly chastising them for their greediness and stupidity.

During the financial crisis, banker bashing was championed by the media and political elites, who have been leading a campaign to limit their extravagant bonuses. Before paying back TARP funds, bankers pretended to care, but have since returned to their greedy ways.

"I did not run for office to be helping out a bunch of, you know, fat-cat bankers on Wall Street", said President Barack Obama, a typical example of banker bashing.

BASHINGUA

The 3:00 AM snack between 7th and 8th meal. Originally used as an insult to Boozer, this word can be used freely. "BASHINGUA" can also be used to insult somebody that is too fat to wear a bathing suit, so they wear jean shorts with a belt instead.

"Wow, that fat-ass just went through Zack's front steps... he must eat BASHINGUA."

"That guy's wearing jean shorts in the pool, he's totally BASHINGUA..."
