Yolandas

A term / song created by hip hop artist Ke Turner that describes fake people. It was inspired by the tragic story of the famous Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla whose life was cut short by a supposed "close friend" Yolanda Saldivar.

1.: a person who is not true, real, or genuine in friendship: COUNTERFEIT, SHAM
2.: a person that you should keep out of your circle at all times

Why is your friend acting jealous of you like that? Be careful, they might be a Yolanda.

I see you out here doing it big, watch out for them Yolanda types, aight?

Keep all Yolandas out your circle, we don't need that fake love.
