It could be caused by an event, news, words someone said, etc. You never really feel anything break until later. All you feel in the moment is a sharp pain that shoots from your heart to everywhere in your body.

Get the Heartbreakmug. heartbreak is 'the feeling'. It feels like your about to break at any moment but it never comes, your heart is already shattered so you don't think it could get any worse. You feel like you don't want to be here but as soon as you see them your world lights up. You live with the thought of knowing they don't love you anymore and its only you now. The 'us' is gone, the 'together' is gone, your alone and its only you. Sometimes you don't want to be here anymore because you feel like they don't want you here. Its loving someone knowing they don't love you too. And you know it hurts, because the pain is unbearable. It is by far one of the worst pains you will go through. People won't understand what your going through until they've experiences it themselves. You want that one person that doesn't want you.
