The use of three small black dots signifies several things happening in the terms of grammar and
communication.
1. Sending a text response that's waiting for a response or to send.
2. Used at the end of a statement to signify that one is done speaking but awaiting a response.
3. Used on intro profiles by guys for random reasons.
4. Used as a pause or to break in a sentence before continuing or starting an idea.
5. A way to make someone nervous over text by withholding one's response in a
conversation.
6. Three dots that are commonly identified by coming after a comma to create a break in the
conversation.
7. Called an Ellipse which is a dot or dash similar to the moon phase that's occurred sparsely in the year with little light.
Texting a friend:
GIrl 1: " Hey did you see that Sarah broke up with Kyle?"

GIrl 2: " No, what happened? I thought they were together?"
Girl 1: " They were, but then he cheated with Jenna from cheer and he blamed her for not trusting him, etc,".
