Tongue Draft

A method of cooling down hot food in another person’s mouth by blowing gently into their mouth.
"Tongue draft" (noun) - A parental technique of cooling down hot food for a young child by blowing air gently into their mouth. This method is employed when a young child has hot food in their mouth, and the parent blows air into their mouth to cool it down, ensuring the child doesn't burn themselves while enjoying their meal. This act of parental care involves using one's breath to regulate the temperature of the food for the child's comfort and safety.
This technique is more commonly used by parents but is also used by anyone.

She noticed her child was struggling and uncomfortable after she had put some hot stew in her mouth. Wanting to alleviate her child’s pain from the the hot stew, she proceeded with a tongue draft which very quickly cooled her child’s food and mouth down.
