A "Sene" kid is usually wearing anything from hot topic.
They try to stand out with their bright, multi-colored hair.
Scene kids hate preppy kids and only hang out with other scene kids. They use weird emoticons like: :3, o.o, owo, o3o, xD and more. Most of them are obsessed with cookies and dinosaurs. They love Blood On The Dance Floor (Terrible band)and Black Veil Brides (Another bad band). Most of them are posers and just try too hard to fit in with other scene kids.

well for one thing "scene" is not like most people describe it. Some people may be like the "douch bags" theyre said to be, but I am concidered "scene" or "emo" :/ and it's very insulting to me to read that "scene kids" think their better than everyone and all that shiz, yes i like dinosaurs so what?? I've been watching jurrasic park all my life! You saying i was a "scene kid" when i was 3?? xP Yeah that's right I wasn't. I looked like everyone, I acted a bit more shy but still. I'm super shy now. How does that make me a bitch or a slut or whore? Yes I've had sex..With ONE guy who I thought was the love of my life, I'm 17 that only happened this summer! I'm not friends with only "scene kids" I'm friends with preps and wangsters and people who don't even have a description!! Yes I make fun of preps sometimes but hey! They start it by calling me a little "emo" bitch! I don't understand it whatsoever.. So anyways, there's my point of view, if you disagree whatever, if you agree thanks :3

SceneStep

SceneStep is a modern day spin-off genre of DubStep. To create a SceneStep song, basic principles of DubStep are taken and mixed in with an up-beat candy-kid aspect to them, thus bringing the music's audience to a stereotypical level of children from the 'Scene' and 'Emo' genre's. The SceneStep audience often frowns upon the connoisseurs of earlier DubStep tracks and mixes due to a small amount of hipster in their styles perspective.

A kid who partakes in the fashion of "the scene". Typically highschool age kids. Scene refers to the music scene, which includes music with screaming, breakdowns, and fast tempos. This music is often referred to as screamo. Scene kids typically wear tight clothing (both girls and boys), with things such as scarves, chains, and skating shoes. Piercings and tattoos are a large part of the scene style as well. Both scene girls and boys wear their hair straightened, and also usually have their hair colored. They also wear makeup, regardless of sex. Many scene kids go to shows often, and they typically stay within their own social group. Not to be confused with goths or emos.

That chick over there with straightened black and blonde hair, with super tight pants, a super tight v-neck, wearing DC's, a chain, a white studded belt, and a red and black scarf is a scene chick.

Scenester

An ex-scene kid who believes that they have grown up because they cut their hair, began wearing black, thick-framed glasses, and replaced their band tees with sweaters, but still dons the same beliefs, personality, and taste in music as before. A trend from 2012-2013 that is still currently ongoing. Scenesters are physically very close to the look of the "Hipster", but do not tend to have a hipster outlook on trends, music, etc.

Girl: My gosh, my ex cut off all his hair the other day claiming that scene kids are dead and it's time to grow up.
Friend: Oh my god, no way.

Girl: Little did he know I caught him listening to Blood on the Dance Floor the other day.

Friend: NO WAY!? What a scenester!
Girl: Yeah, you can change a scene kids clothes, but you can't change the scene kid.
