parsney

A vegetable that appears somewhat like a pineapple, but hangs on a plant that looks like it should grow tomatoes. It smells like death and attracts a lot of flies. It is poky and green. Poisonous, it must be boiled to become safe for ingestion. If ingested before boiling, it can create a state of hallucination similar to the experience of characters in the film "Batman Begins".
