Pseudo-shut in

A person who mostly stays at home due to physical or mental health issues, disabilities other factors. Though the unlike the usual shut in, they sometimes leaves the house infrequently. Usually for various reasons, eg. an appointment with a doctor.

Inky is a pseudo-shut in, due to their physical illness and disability they usually stay at home. Once in a long while, they would leave the house for various appointments with their doctors.

2: The act of telling someone to, in a sense, shut up.
3: The act of saving or preserving anything, be it physical or otherwise.
