Get the Im himmug. With Inpatient Mental Health, this cocktail of Benadryl, Haldol 5mg, and Ativan 2mg may be ordered to be administered to a patient acting violently towards staff or other patients. The Haldol has a great effect on psych symptoms in a fast period while Ativan takes care of certain withdrawals with sedative effects, along with Benadryl causing the patient to hopefully calm down or even take a nap. Most likely the patient will be sedated with this, and may be therefore considered a chemical restraint.
Anyways, the funniest shit about this is that while it has sedative effects, it has the same name as the B-52 bomber, the airplane responsible for dropping nukes in WW2.
