82nd Airborne

One of the three actual airborne units in the United States Army, it's been around even longer than the British Parachute Regiment and it's known for being the tip of the Spear in Germany in WW2 along with the 101st Airborne (Now 101st Air Assault) Theres an old rivalry between the Airborne and Marines. In the 82nd's defense (Even though it's record speaks for itself) it was the 82nd who had captured Fallujah and then had to recapture it after the Marines they handed it off too had lost it; the 82nd is a trusted and much faster response unit than most MEU's.

corporate kool aid

the PR and Marketing specifically geared towards imprinting the corporate culture and brand as a positive mindset and way of life, targeted to "inside audiences", a.k.a. the employees, of a corporation, most especialy to new hires to help them assimilate into their new environment". In the most successful cases, this is done in such a way that the individual who has "drunk the corporate kool aid" will, outside of work and uncompensated, be a willing and engaged corporate spokesperson, advocating and promoting the corporation's stated views and agenda as True Believer.

See also Microsift, Target, and Jim Jones.
I am thrilled and lucky to be here! I fully admit, I have drunk the corporate kool aid and now I am one of the best and the brightest, inventing the future! What do you mean my 75 hours of work each week are distroying my marriage and family?!!! This is IMPORTANT WORK!!

Avatar: The Last Airbender

A:TLA is the last show on Nickelodeon that doesn't portray good and evil. Instead, the show portrays neutrality, flawed people, mistakes, and perspective. It was even stated on page 147 of the book written by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, Avatar: The Last Airbender - Art of the Animated Series.

Many "fans" are in unreasonable denial of this fact and continue to think A:TLA is simplistic.
"The fact that Hama was once friends with Katara's grandmother, Kanna, illustrated a core philosophy of the series: people aren't good or evil, but are either in balance or out of balance." - Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, Avatar: The Last Airbender - Art of the Animated Series, page 147.
