flux is a style of filmmaking, blending fast transitional set pieces, sound design & dynamic camera movement with traditional storytelling.

We wanted to make this piece in the flux filming style so that the audience was really drawn into the story we were telling.

From the verb 'to flux'. In the Robert Zemekis saga 'Back to the future', inside of the time traveling Delonean is localized the Flux Capacitor, which job is to Flux. So the Delonean needs the Flux Capacitor to keep Fluxing for time travel being possible.
