speedrunning

In the campaign or story mode of a video game, speedrunning refers to the practise of running past (as opposed to killing) opponents to reach checkpoints. In this way the campaign can be completed very quickly with a minimum of fuss.

Speedrunning videos were all over youtube in the Halo 2 days; now it's much harder.

1. One who uses excessive amounts of currency.
2. Remote computer infiltration specialists who are in the trade for profit. Such a person isn't described as a hacker in respect to the hacker's code of ethics, which states that a one shall not use their knowledge for personal gain. Term derived from Front Mission 3.
