lagershed

9 pm. The time after which conversation on a blog can descend into language or subjects inappropriate for children. First coined by me, "stjohn", on the website Politicalbetting.com in the 2000s and a twist on the "9pm watershed". It implies a time in the evening after which bloggers, having become influenced by the consumption of lager instead of water, become more disinhibited in their comments. Now used on the Politicalbetting.com blog quite regularly by those bloggers who are aware of its meaning.
